Tel Aviv is known for its vibrant nightlife and incredible culinary scene, but what about the Shuk? Or should I say Shuks?

My favorite place to go in Tel Aviv are the shuks, hands down. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore that you'll always find something new every time you go. The atmosphere is always jumping and alive, with vendors singing, food being cooked, and music being played by booth after booth.
Anything you could want is in these markets. Produce, meat, fish, candy, clothes, everything. You'll walk in needing one thing and leave with 30 but make sure to bring enough cash!
Shuk HaCarmel isn't the only Shuk in Tel Aviv, even though many people think that. Shuk HaTikva, located in Tel Aviv's Hatikva neighborhood, is up and coming in the Shuk game.

Shuk HaTikva is one of the most, if not the most, underrated shuks in Tel Aviv. Its's more spacious and comfortable to walk around in as compared to it's "bigger brother", Shuk HaCarmel. On top of that, prices are significantly cheaper. The thing about Shuk HaTikva is that it's not a cultural experience like other markets. It's simply a place to buy food for cheaper prices with different ethnic stores as well, such as Yeminite, Iraqi, and others. In short, if you want a cultural experience, HaCarmel is the way to go. If you want cheap food quickly, HaTikva is the place to be.
